It's that time of the year again, as the Waukesha Salvation Army kicks off its annual Red Kettle campaign in the area. Here's how to help:

WAUKESHA, WI — It's that time of the year again, as the Waukesha Salvation Army kicks off its annual Red Kettle campaign in the area.
According to a Journal Sentinel report, the Red Kettle contributions stay in Waukesha County to operate programs and services that help the hungry, the homeless and others in-need. The county-based charity has a $1.5 million annual budget.
The campaign covers the following community resources:

- Operating the largest homeless shelter for men in Waukesha County
- Operating a large food pantry
- Providing free hot meals for hundreds in its Waukesha dining hall on three evenings each week; and, many more outreach, hunger and youth programs.
