Waukesha South Student Taken Into Custody

Police reported that a school resource officer at the high school detained a juvenile who was determined to be out of control.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to Waukesha South High School on the morning of Nov. 8 on a report of juvenile trouble.

Waukesha police told patch that a school resource officer at the high school detained a juvenile who was determined to be out of control. The student's parents refused custody of their child, and the student was turned over to the Juvenile Intake Center.

According to police reports, officers responded to the school with lights and sirens activated just after 8 a.m. that morning. Reports indicated the 15-year-old female student needed to be transported to the emergency room after it was reported that she had been hyperventilating and later had trouble breathing.
