Police Blotter: Waukesha Teacher Calls in Package Thief

WAUKESHA, WI — A teacher at Trinity Lutheran School told police she was on the playground with her students at just before 11 a.m. Tuesday when she saw the driver of a silver car drive up to a blue house on Baxter St. and take a package off the porch and drive away.

She felt the situation was suspicious, so she called police to report the incident.

According to the police report, police ended up catching up with the apparent package theives only to find out that they had victimized multiple homes in the area. The person accused in the crimes was taken into custody just after noon on Tuesday.
