Storytime with Mrs. Claus-Wauwatosa-

Mrs. Claus is helping Santa this year and reading classic holiday stories to the children while Santa is on his break.  The U.S. Marine Corp will be there to help Mrs. Claus spread some holiday cheer.  The first 50 children who attend each each event will receive a special plush toy. (Mayfair Mall)

Pajama Storytime- Oconomowoc-

Head to Books & Co. for Christmas stories, crafts and snacks!  Ms. Lisa will be reading  The Christmas Wish, A Very Fuddles Christmas, An Otis Christmas, and When It Snows.

Friday Night Frenzy (teens)- Hartland-

Teens are you looking for something to do that is fun?  Join in the fun at Friday Night Frenzy!  This month it will be held at Lake Country Martial Arts!  There is only a $5 cover to help with the cost of the FOOD!  Yup, Chinese take out for dinner and some fun martial arts as well!

Butler Christmas Parade-

The parade route will be starting at St. Agnes parking lot (on Fairmount Ave) then heading West to 132nd St. then South on 132nd St to Hampton Ave, East on Hampton Avenue to 127th St, then North on 127th St into Frontier Park.

After the parade enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, Santa and Mrs. Claus, music, trolley rides plus food pantry collection at the Community Building in Frontier Park. There will also be a German Cookie Sale in the Community Building, and a bell choir. Don’t forget to bring your letter to Santa (don’t forget your return address!) From 7:45 pm until 8:30 pm there will be Trolley Rides leaving from the community building.

Saturday December 7th-

Free Zoo Day!-

Visit the Zoo for free!  Don’t let the winter air cause you fear, if you want to stay warm, they have many indoor animal exhibits! If the cool weather doesn’t deter you, you’ll also find many outdoor animal exhibits.

Admission is free!
Regular parking, rental and concession rates still apply.

Breakfast with the Reindeer-Delafield-

Downtown Delafield will be the place to have breakfast on December 7th!  Where else can you have breakfast with the Reindeer?  Join in the fun from 9:00 am until  12:00 pm.   While there you can visit with Santa and his reindeer while enjoying holiday music and complimentary doughnut holes, milk and cocoa.  Located at the Clock Tower Square (corner of Genesee St & Milwaukee St).

Holiday Craft Fair & Cookie Decorating-Summit-

The community is  welcome to decorate holiday cookies, enjoy refreshments, and browse the arts and crafts created by caregivers and local talent available for purchase!

Midnight Magic- Mukwonago-

Midnight Magic will bring Mukwonago alive all day long!  The whole town will be buzzing with fun!  There will be  crafters, shopping and a festive atmosphere.  The can’t miss events, are the 16th annual Midnight Magic Parade that will be at 3:00 pm with the theme of “It’s a Wonderful Night in Mukwonago”, the horse drawn carriage rides, historic trolley rides, and of course, pictures with Santa.  There will also be fireworks at 9:00 pm and will be able to seen throughout  the village.

Christmas at the Inn-Delafield-

Hawks Inn will be decorated in Christmas glory and take visitors back to an 1850′s Christmas.

There will be fireplace cooking demonstrations and tastings of warm cider, doughnut holes and roasted chestnuts.  There will be tours, and no admission fee, but free will donations accepted.  This year there will be students from Kettle Moraine re-enacting how Frances Hawks describing how it was to grow up in Delafield in the 1850′s.  Hawks Inn will also be a donation center for the food pantry donations.

Next door at the Visitor’s Center are Sunday sing-a-longs, musicians and the Christmas Shoppe for that unique holiday gift.

Saturday, 10 – 4 – Family cookie decorating in Visitors’ Center. $5/doz. – all supplies furnished.

Sunday, 1 – 3 – Sing-a-long in Visitors’ Center with the Bramble and Rose musical duo.

Kids’ Holiday Gift Workshop!-Oconomowoc-

Cookies with Santa- Genesee-

The elves have told us a secret that we just couldn’t keep!  Santa is coming down to have cookies with Santa at the Genesee Town Hall!  There will be pictures taken that can be purchased, or you are welcome to bring your own camera!  They also told us that there will be a delicious bake sale being held to help fund the development of Town of Genesee Parks.

Christmas in the Depot-

Genesee Depot will be filled with the spirit of the holiday season.  There will be make and take crafts, a bake sale, photos with Santa at the town hall, horse and buggy rides, and lots more.  This is a great opportunity to explore this quaint town and shop local for the season of gift giving.

Christmas on the Avenue/Parade-West Allis-

Head to Downtown West Allis for the Comunity Sing-a-long, tree lighting and Christmas Parade!  You won’t be bored as there will be ice sculpting competition, hay rides, music, and artwork by local school children!  The community sing-a-long and tree lighting will be at 4:00 pm Christmas tree lighting will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the West Allis City Hall in Centennial Park Plaza located on 76th and Greenfield Avenue and then the West Allis Community Christmas Parade is to follow at 4:45 pm.  The theme this year is “A Storybook Christmas” and the parade route is from Greenfield Avenue from 81st to 65th Street.

Pewaukee’s Holiday Fest-

The Clark House Museum in Pewaukee will be hosting Pewaukee’s Holiday Fest again this year.  Be ready for live music, hot cocoa, cookies, storytime, prizes for the kids.  There will also be a live Nativity, museum tours, and photos with Mrs. Claus.  Don’t forget to bring a donation for the food pantry!

Oconomowoc Christmas Parade-

The Oconomowoc Christmas Parade will head from Fowler Park, through Downtown Oconomowoc, to Roosevelt Park!  This is a family favorite for us here at Lake Country Family Fun, so bundle up and have a great time!

Waterford Winter Wonderland Parade-

Downtown Waterford invites you to go to their 15th Annual Waterford Winter Wonderland Parade.

The parade route  will begin at the Associated Bank located at 217 North Milwaukee Street, proceed south on Main Street and conclude at the Waterford Public Library, 101 North River Street.

Sunday December 8th-

Winter Farmers Market-Oconomowoc-

The 2013 Winter Farmers Market for Oconomowoc will be held at Oconomowoc Landscape Supply & Garden Center, N68 W37850 County Trunk K, Oconomowoc.

The market is on the 2nd & 4th Sundays from November 2013 through March 2014 from 9:30 am to 1 pm.

Santa at Okauchee Fire Department-

Santa will be visiting the Okauchee Fire Department this year!  So don’t miss this event, there will be rides on the engines, coffee, hot cocoa, cookies, and goodies for the little ones once they visit with Santa!

Lights of Love-Elm Grove-

The Elm Grove Public Library will be opening up at 3:00 pm on Sunday December 8th for this holiday tradition.  There will be a model train and visits with Santa available!  Don’t miss the three special Christmas trees with handmade ornaments that are part of the “Lights of Love” campaign.  The O’Neill Room with have activites for the little ones as well!  There will be a string quartet in the lobby as you head in.  At 4:30 pm follow the girl scouts outside as they lead caroling prior to the lighting ceremony.  Everyone is invited to the courtroom for refreshments when the tree lighting ends.
