Waukesha Woman Sent to Emergency Room With Serious Injury in Battery Case

WAUKESHA, WI — A man was arrested after an apaprent battery case left one woman with a serious head injury early Thursday.

A Waukesha man was arrested early Thursday morning on the 800 block of Perkins Ave. after a woman was seriously injured during an apparent battery case.

Waukesha police responded to the 800 block of Perkins Ave. just after 2:30 a.m. Thursday on a report that a woman was laying on the ground bleeding from the head with a laceration.

Reports indicated the woman had just been assaulted and was semi-conscious and about to pass out.

When police responded to the scene, the woman was transported to the emergency room.

Police reports indicate that a man was taken into custody just after 3 a.m.
