A Waukesha woman says she fears for her safety after authorities say she found a swastika drawn on the hood of her vehicle.

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha woman says she fears for her safety after authorities say she found a swastika drawn on the hood of her truck parked in her apartment's parking lot overnight.
According to Waukesha police reports, officers responded to an apartment on the 1500 block of Big Bend Road just before 10 a.m. on Feb. 27 on an apparent harassment call.
Reports stated that a woman who, who is black, had a swastika drawn in the snow on the hood of her truck.

According to a WISN-TV report, the woman who wished to be identified as Sanora, said she's lived in the neighborhood for about four months, and called police because she feared for her safety.
"Somebody is telling me they really don't want me here, and I did call the police because I'm afraid for my life," she said in the article.

According to the article, Waukesha police are investigating the incident as a hate crime. There is no video surveillance footage available, according to police reports.
