Waukesha Women Share Hearts and Stories Over Beads
Group of ladies started meeting on Thursdays to share about life while making jewelry at Beading Hearts Studio.
"It started as a joke that my husband would say went terribly wrong."
Joking aside, o owner DeDe Galecki has been in business for just over two years and has provided an outlet for Waukesha crafters to make sparkly and shiny jewelry.
Galecki has even gained a few new friends a long the way. Lynn Syverson, of Waukesha, discovered the store during downtown Waukesha's "Name Game" in fall 2009 and hasn't stopped coming. Now, every Thursday afternoon, Syverson, Galecki and a few other Waukesha ladies gather to bead, knit, chat and share a few jokes.

The women can't resist teasing each other about life but, when it matters, they are there to support each other and lift each other up.
"We are each other's biggest cheerleaders," Galecki said.

But, the group wouldn't have started unless the joke was never made about Galecki opening a beading store.
And for that, these ladies are grateful.
"She is truly the heart of Beading Hearts," said Waukesha resident Jeannie Stickles.
