Waukesha's Newest Barbecue Joint To Open Mid-January

Tex-A-Consin serves up award-winning barbecue favorites in addition to Wisconsin-centric fare.

WAUKESHA, WI — A mobile barbecue smokehouse boasting the best slow-cooked mesquite ribs in Wisconsin is coming Waukesha, according to reports.

According to a report from the Waukesha Freeman, Tex-A-Consin, a smokehouse owned by Waukesha County Technical College professor Todd Lewis and professional chef Terence Williams, will start serving up barbecue favorites in mid-January.

Tex-A-Consin serves up such items as pulled pork sandwiches, half and full-rack ribs, collared greens, deep-fried southern potatoes, and burgers and brats with a smokehouse flair.
