Waukesha's Salute To Veterans Enters Seventh Year
The program will be followed the 132nd Wisconsin Army National Guard Band.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Waukesha will honor military veterans a day ahead of the 2018 Veterans Day, and will keep a local tradition going for at least one more year.
Waukesha's seventh-annual Operation Honor: A Salute to Veterans will take place on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. in the Schuetze Recreation Center, 1120 Baxter St.
Operation Honor will include a formal recognition of all Veterans and include Keynote Speaker Don Grundy, Camp American Legion Director, Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly along with Master of Ceremonies, Jeff Wagner, WTMJ Radio Host.

The program will be followed the 132nd Wisconsin Army National Guard Band performing until 6:00 p.m. and a dinner provided for the first 400 people in attendance at the celebration.
“I am proud to host Operation Honor: A Salute to Veterans in the City of Waukesha,” Reilly said in a prepared statement. “Veterans and their families have sacrificed to ensure we continue to have the freedoms we hold dear. My hope is that Veterans, their families, and our citizens take part in this great community celebration.”
