Wisconsin Humane Society Overwhelmed With Samoyed Dog Inquiries
Dogs will be given necessary medical treatment and care, will stay "at least through the weekend."

MILWAUKEE — 12 "Samoyed" dogs were reportedly rescued from a home in Burnett County Wednesday after the owner surrendered them to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
Since then, WHS officials said they have been “overwhelmed” with support from people “all over the globe” wanting to adopt the dogs.

According to a report from FOX 6 online, WHS officials said due to the sheer amount of phone calls, emails and messages received, officials were struggling to get back to everyone while still providing the dogs with the care and attention they need.
WHS officials prepared an FAQ about the Samoyeds, and are directing people to check it out before contacting the overwhelmed staff.
