Woman, 24, Found Dead In Car On Summit Ave.: Report
Waukesha police say a person out walking their dog on Summit Ave. discovered a woman slumped over the wheel of a parked car.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha say a 24-year-old woman is dead in an apparent drug overdose case.
According to police reports, officers were called to the 1100 block of Summit Ave. just before 10 p.m. on March 19 on a report of a person in critical condition.
Reports stated that a man out walking his dog that evening noticed a woman slumped over behind the wheel of a parked car on the block.

According to reports, the dog walker knocked on the driver's side window of the vehicle, but the woman did not move. After a few minutes of knocking and trying to get the woman's attention, the dog walker called police.
Police say they arrived minutes later, and had to break a window of the car in order to get her out.

Police reported that the woman was beyond help, and the Waukesha County Medical Examiner confirmed her death at just after 11 p.m. on March 19.
Waukesha police say the 24-year-old woman died from an apparent drug overdose. The woman's name is being withheld pending notification of family members. Police are continuing to investigate the case.
