Woman, 62, Died In 4-Vehicle Crash On I-43: Report

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI -- A 62-year-old woman from Mukwonago has died after a four-vehicle crash on I-43 near Moorland Road in New Berlin this week.

According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's office, first-responders arrived on the scene on I-43 just after 2 p.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, first-responders reported seeing four vehicles that had been involved in a crash.

Deputies reported that one of the vehicles was heavily damaged and the driver of that vehicle, a 62-year-old woman from Mukwonago, died as a result of the crash at the scene. All other people involved in the crash did not sustain injuries, according to reports.

The northbound lanes of I-43 were shut down for several hours following the crash, and the crash remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
