Woman Assaulted on W. Laflin Ave., Arrest Made
Waukesha police arrested a man after he reportedly punched a woman in the face, hit her with a crutch and tried to break her arm.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police arrested a man after he reportedly punched a woman in the face, hit her with a crutch and tried to break her arm.
Waukesha police responded to the 200 block of W. Laflin Ave. just before 1 a.m. on Sunday on a report of a domestic disturbance.
According to police reports, a 911 caller told police that a woman in her 60s had been assaulted in the apartment complex. Police responded, learned of the woman's injuries, and also arrested a suspect.

Police said that the man in this case repeatedly punched the woman in the face, causing significant bruising and knocked out a tooth.
Police also told Waukesha Patch that the man also struck the woman with a crutch, and attempted to break her arm while yelling that he was going to kill her. The woman was transported to the Waukesha Memorial Hospital emergency room for treatment of her injuries.

Police said the man was arrested on suspicion of substantial battery and first-degree recklessly endangering safety.
