Woman Finds Skinny Cat, Neighbor Gets Mad

Waukesha police were called to the 2000 block of Macarthur Road just before 9 p.m. Thursday on a report that a neighbor found a malnourished cat that day and took it to HAWS only to find out that it was her neighbor's cat.

According to police reports, this fact really upset the neighbor, who reportedly went off on the well-meaning woman, by yelling, swearing and slamming the door on her.

The woman called police, and the problem was mediated between the woman and her cat-owning neighbor. The owner of the cat reportedly will be picking up the cat from HAWS the next day.
