A woman came home and noticed her house and garage door open in an apparent burglary case.

A woman suffered multiple facial injuries after a fight was reported just after 11 p.m. Wednesday on the 1400 block of E. North St.

According to reports, a person called police stating that a man was trying to break down the door to the woman's apartment and that the woman had already suffered multiple injuries.

When police arrived, they learned the woman had multiple facial lacerations.

Police took the man into custody.

Police Investigate Apparent Burglary on Hunter

Police responded to a residence on the 1700 block of Hunter Road on a report of a burglary in progress.

The police reports indicate that the home owner arrived home just before 4 p.m. and found her garage door open as well as the door going into the residence despite nobody being home.

When police arrived, they set up a perimeter around the building and made entry. They quickly determined that the house was clear and no suspicious people were located.
