Woman Pulls Knife On Menards Security Worker: Police

Police said that when the woman was confronted by a security person, the woman pulled out a knife and threatened the security person.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the Menards just after 2 p.m. on Jan. 31 on a report of a person with a knife who was threatening store employees.

Police told Waukesha Patch that a woman was seen by a Menards loss prevention officer to be concealing several items on her as she was leaving the store.

Police said that when the woman was confronted by security person, the woman pulled out a knife and threatened the security person and nearby employees.

Police say the woman fled the store and was not located. According to police reports, the woman was described as a black woman wearing a pink and gray jacket with black pants and her hair tied up in a cloth.

Police said they are working with Menards to locate the woman who was involved in the incident. The investigation remains open and is still actively being investigated.
