Woman Struck With Brick Follows Assailant Until His Arrest
A Waukesha woman who was struck by a brick followed her assailant until police could make the arrest.

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha woman who was struck by a brick followed her assailant until police could make the arrest.
Waukesha police responded to the 2000 block of Cliff-Alex Court just after 7 a.m. on Nov. 7 on a report of a domestic disturbance.
Waukesha police told Patch that a woman was struck with a brick on one of her legs, and suffered minimal injuries as a result of the incident. Police said that the female victim followed her assailant on foot as reports indicated the male fled by running through yards and bushes in the neighborhood.

Waukesha police said officers located the suspect a few blocks away, near Panos Fresh Market and was taken into custody on suspicion of battery. Police said they are withholding the man's name until he is formally charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court.
According to police reports, the unnamed suspect also had prior convictions for battery and criminal damage to property.
