Police Blotter: Woman Tells Police a Man Pointed a Gun at Her Head; Demanded Purse

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police are investigating a robbery case after a woman told them that an armed man pointed a gun at her head and demanded her purse.

Waukesha police responded to the apartment building at 1914 Madera St. just after 7 p.m. Thursday on a report that a female was robbed at gunpoint.

According to the report, Waukesha police were originally flagged down by a female who stated that she was just robbed a gunpoint by a male,who reportedly told her "give me your purse or you will be shot," as he pointed a handgun at her head.

Police reportedly spotted the man running northbound in the apartment on Grand and Sentinel when he was lost among the buildings.

Police advised that the suspect was wearing dark blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt, glasses, and was likely carrying a handgun with a wooden grip.
