Woman Walking To School Reports Suspicious Van: Report

WAUKESHA, WI -- A woman on her way to school said the driver of a suspicious vehicle asked her how old she was and pretended to be lost.

According to police reports, a student called police on the morning of April 9, saying that she was walking on her way to school in the 1500 block of University Drive when the driver of a suspicious white van with a blue logo pulled up alongside her.

According to reports, the driver in the van asked her how old she was and where Fox Grove street was.

Reports said the woman was able to get herself out of the situation, and called police. Reports indicated she provided a description of the vehicle and its driver to officers.
