Worker in Gas Station Man Hole Run Over by Car
A man working below ground at a Waukesha gas station was injured when a motorist backed up over him by accident on Monday.

WAUKESHA, WI — A man working in a gas station man hole suffered serious injury early Monday after he was backed over by a motorist.
Waukesha police responded to the Shell gas station on the 1600 block of E. Main St. just before 8:30 a.m. on a report of a man down.
According to the police report, a 60-year-old man reportedly backed over the man while he was working in a man hole located near the gas pumps.

According to the report, the man who was in his 50s, was described as barely alert. A gas station worker described the man's appearance as looking like his chest was crushed.
The man who backed into the worker remained on scene during the incident, the report stated.

Flight for Life was put on standby for the accident, however the man was treated locally for his injuries.
