• City does not commit funds to Catch-a-Ride program (waupacanow.com) — Waupaca County’s Catch-a-Ride transit program just hit a snag as New London officials declined, for now, to commit the $36,000 the county requested for this year and future budgets. County leaders say only the city of Waupaca has fully bought in so far, shifting former taxi subsidies into the program while other municipalities weigh whether to help fund expanded public transportation.
