2019 Wauwatosa Winter Wonderland Date Set

WAUWATOSA, WI -- The Friends of Hoyt Park Pool are inviting the public out into the great outdoors on Sunday, Feb. 17 for the 2019 Winter Wonderland. This free event runs from noon to 4 p.m.

But for those seeking a respite from the elements, the 2019 Winter Wonderland will be held in the warm and cozy Grand Hall, as well as the surrounding Hoyt Park.

Families are invited to embark on a self-guided animal-tracking walk to find signs of hearty winter creatures. Children can log their finds on our Friends of Hoyt Park Pool discovery forms and turn them in afterward for a fun prize.

Crafts, winter-themed activities and movies will be featured inside the historic Grand Hall.
At 2 p.m., join volunteers for a guided nature walk, highlighting the variety of native species found at Hoyt Park.

No reservations are needed. Food and drinks, including hot chocolate, will be available for purchase from The Landing at Hoyt Park. Volunteers will also will be roasting marshmallows for s'mores on the outdoor fire pit, just outside the Grand Hall.
