Apparent Fryer Fire Shuts Down McDonald's
The Wauwatosa Fire Department said that a restaurant employee called 911 at just before 6 a.m. Sunday after noticing the fire.

WAUWATOSA, WI -- The McDonald's restaurant located at 3800 N. 124th Street in Wauwatosa will be closed for the foreseeable future after a fire on Sunday morning.
According to Wauwatosa fire officials, the exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined, however it appeared that a fire started in a fryer in the restaurant's kitchen area. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
The Wauwatosa Fire Department said that a restaurant employee called 911 at just before 6 a.m. Sunday after noticing the fire. Fire crews said that there was smoke coming from the roof, and the presence of smoke inside the restaurant when they arrived.
