• Judge dismisses suit against Wis. officers in 2022 shooting of armed suspect who fled traffic stop (police1.com) — A federal judge has thrown out a lawsuit against two Wauwatosa police officers over a 2022 shooting, ruling their use of force against an armed 17-year-old was objectively reasonable. Body camera footage and a stolen-vehicle alert were central to the decision, which found officers gave multiple commands before firing as the teen ran with a handgun. The teen is now weighing whether to appeal.
