Ballot Boxes: A Way For Wauwatosa Voters To Drop Off Absentee Ballots

These free standing boxes are a place City of Wauwatosa voters can deposit their ballots into to avoid the mail.

The City recently installed two ballot collection boxes. One is located at City Hall near the Bublr Bike station and the other at Hart Park’s Muellner Building. The addresses are:

  • City Hall (7725 W North Avenue)
  • Hart Park's Muellner Building/Senior Center (7330 W Chestnut Ave)

These free standing boxes are a place City of Wauwatosa voters can deposit their ballots into to avoid the mail. The drop boxes will be emptied out routinely. All you need to do is drive up and drop your ballot. Don't forget your signature, your witness' signature, and your witness' address.

Ballots must be received by the Clerk’s Office on Election Day by 8pm in order to be counted. However, we welcome all absentee ballots that are returned earlier.

What are all the ways you can return an absentee ballot?

  • The mail
  • Using the new ballot collection boxes
  • At the secure payment depository at City Hall (same place you pay water bills)
  • At the City Clerk’s Office Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Do you want to vote absentee in-person and avoid having a ballot mailed to your home? You can vote in-person absentee October 20 – 30 at City Hall.
