Barnes & Noble Mayfair Welcomes Award Winning Children’s Author Steve Antony

WAUWATOSA, WI — Barnes and Noble Mayfair is honored to host Steve Antony, author and illustrator of children’s books including the popular Mr. Panda series, The Queen’s Hat, Betty Goes Bananas, Green Lizards vs. Red Triangles and more, will join us.

His stories reinforce positive behaviors, appropriate manners and simply being polite to each other. Steve will lead fun filled activities for the entire family and sign copies of his award winning books. We’ll also have Special Treats and Surprises in store!

About Steve Antony:

Steve is an internationally published award-winning author and illustrator who explores themes ranging from 'saying please' to the futility of war. Born in England and raised in New Mexico, he was the British kid that liked to draw. He has written and illustrated several books, including the MR. PANDA series (a series of books about a grumpy but lovable panda that likes good manners), GREEN LIZARDS VS RED RECTANGLES (a story about war and peace), MONSTER IN THE HOOD (a story about prejudice), and two BETTY GOES BANANAS books (both deal with 'temper tantrums'). He’s also illustrated a cover of the FAMOUS FIVE series. His books have been translated into a wide range of languages, and he is currently working on future books in his little Swindon, England studio.
