Referendum on April 5 Election
We will have a referendum question on the ballot for the April 5, 2022 Election. We will ask if:
- the size of the Common Council should be reduced from 16 to 12 members
- we should create term limit for alderpersons, so that no person could serve more than two consecutive four-year terms (unless one full term or more has passed since that person last held office)
Learn more about the referendum, including the exact question you'll see on your April 5 ballot.
