City Of Wauwatosa Publishes Preview Agendas For Week Of August 3

The Common Council meeting will be a hybrid in-person and online format. In-person attendees are required to comply with Governor Evers' order requiring face masks. Transportation Affairs will occur via Zoom only. Individual Zoom instructions are on the agendas of meetings.

Topics this week during city meetings include:

• Common Council (August 4, 7:30 pm, virtual) will discuss
  • an ordinance requiring the use of face coverings in Wauwatosa
  • an ordinance prohibiting the use of carotid and neck restraints
  • a conditional use at 418 North Mayfair Road for an eating establishment (Cuppa Tosa)
  • a land combination via certified survey map at 1535 and 1565 Rivers Bend
  • a reauthorization of a certified survey map approval for 1717 North Mayfair Road (Pick n' Save)
  • a request by Blue Mound Golf and County Club for a fireworks permit for August 8, 2020
  • a special event permit by Jackson's Blue Ribbon Pub for JacksonFest on Saturday, August 15, 2020
  • approving delegation of authority to the Ad Hoc Government Affairs Committee to commission a police operational study with the Center for Public Safety Management
• Transportation Affairs (August 4, 6:00 pm, virtual) will discuss rail safety improvements
