Quick-thinking and quick-acting deputies were able to reach her and bring her to safety.

MILWAUKEE COUNTY, WI — Authorities in Milwaukee County say quick actions by deputies managed to save the life of a 21-year-old woman this week.
On June 7, at 3:45 p.m., a woman called 911, indicated she was on a bridge over the freeway and was going to kill herself, and hung up.
Authorities reported that dispatchers tried to call her back, but she did not pick up. Deputies responded to the area of the call on I-41/US-45 near Wisconsin Ave. and found a woman straddling the freeway overpass railing.
