Diversity Training For All Wauwatosa City Employees

The City of Wauwatosa is committed to creating a culture of diversity and inclusion in our workplace. We know this leads to higher productivity and creativity, as well as reducing inequities in our work.

Our Human Resources is rolling out diversity training for all employees. Diversity is a complex topic, not defined by one or two characteristics. We know there are actions that we can all take to improve our workplace culture in diversity and inclusion.

In addition to this diversity training, there is additional training for employees and elected officials related to unconscious bias, the challenge and history of racial disparities, and hiring and retention practices.

The public can follow the other measures we're taking to make Wauwatosa a more inclusive community.
