A Doughnut Ice Cream Sandwich? Yep, 'Tosa's Got 'Em!

WAUWATOSA — Move over Wisconsin State Fair creampuffs, one local chocolatier has developed a dessert so tempting, it might be motivation enough to abandon (or start) your spring exercise plan.

OnMilwaukee.com just published an article (and oh, by the way, THANKS OnMilwaukee ...) reporting that Indulgence Chocolatiers will be rolling out a line of new doughnut ice cream sandwiches as a weekend-only special at their East Tosa location at 6538 W. North Ave.

It's called the "Crankie Sammie," and it looks ... lovely.

It's a Cranky Al's doughnut filled with ice cream and topped with original toppings.

Cost: $6.50

Extra Toppings: $1 each

"Each of the three businesses represented in the Cranky Sammie make delicious sweets on their own, but putting all those sweets together into a single menu item makes a pretty amazing local dessert," Owner Brian Waterman told OnMilwaukee.

Indulgence is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 7 p.m.
