Duo Arrested For Wauwatosa Home Depot Theft: Report
Police say the duo filled a shopping cart with assorted tools, hiding them under larger, less-expensive items.

WAUWATOSA, WI — A shoplifting duo faces time behind bars after police say they caught the man and woman attempting to steal more than $500 in tools from the Home Depot store in Wauwatosa.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Milwaukee County, Samantha Gibson and Christopher Simpson of Milwaukee have been arrested and charged with one count of felony retail theft, and are awaiting their initial appearance in Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
The criminal complaint states that the duo walked into the Home Depot at 4100 N. 124th St. on April 10 just before 2 p.m. Police say the duo filled a shopping cart with assorted tools, hiding them under larger, less-expensive items.

The criminal complaint stated that Gibson brought some of the items into the bathroom to remove the security tags. When they tried leaving the store, they were stopped by police.
