Firehouse Subs Across Wisconsin Raise Funds For First Responders
Franchises throughout the greater Madison, Milwaukee and Eau Claire areas have helped essential workers since the start of the pandemic.

In Wisconsin, 18 Firehouse Subs franchise restaurants are locally owned and operated by several area residents throughout the greater Madison, Milwaukee, and Eau Claire areas.

While franchisees have always been entrenched in their communities, COVID-19 presented a unique opportunity for them to do what they do best -- help first responders be better prepared to save lives in the communities they serve.
In the last year, Firehouse Subs franchisees in the state of Wisconsin area partnered with Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to donate hearty and flavorful meals to local heroes fighting on the front lines of the virus:

- Firehouse Subs Eau Claire Franchisee Jerry Hagen partnered with the Foundation and donated 211 meals to frontline workers, including Wisconsin State Police, Sacred Heart Hospital intensive care unit and emergency room, Altoona Fire and Rescue Department and Eau Claire Fire Department.
- Firehouse Subs Milwaukee-area Franchisees Sharon and Bob Erickson partnered with the Foundation and donated 237 meals to frontline workers, including West Bend Fire Department, Jackson Fire Department, Rogers Behavioral Health Clinic, and Aurora Pediatrics and Urgent Care. The Ericksons own and operate three Firehouse Subs restaurants in Brown Deer, Grafton and West Bend. A total of 447 meals were donated throughout Milwaukee.
- Firehouse Subs Madison Franchisee Joe Fallin partnered with the Foundation and donated 185 meals to frontline workers, including Blackhawk Covid Testing Coordinator and Southern Wisconsin Emergency Preparedness Team (SWEPT). Fallin owns and operates two Firehouse Subs restaurants in Janesville and Beloit. A total of 364 meals were donated throughout Madison.
- Firehouse Subs Multi-Location Franchisees Eric Erwin, Don Davey and Scott Anthony partnered with the Foundation and donated 764 meals to frontline workers, including local police and departments and St. Maryβs Hospital. These business partners own and operate four Firehouse Subs restaurants in Sun Prairie, New Berlin, Wauwatosa, Menomonee Falls and two in Madison. In addition to running their restaurants, Eric Erwin also oversees all 18 Wisconsin restaurants as the Area Representative.
- These 1,400+ donated meals in Wisconsin contributed to the 95,000+ total meals provided by Firehouse Subs and Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation across the country.
