Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) launches E/NET

E/NET combines exceptional networking with a business education component

The Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) presents E/NET, the chamber’s new education and networking program on April 19, 2018, 7:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m., at Bravo! Cucina Italiana, 95 N. Moorland Road, Brookfield, Wis.

The first meeting of E/NET is “Harassment in the Workplace … What do you have to lose? Everything!” It’s an opportunity to learn what you need to know so you can protect your business. HRS, Human Resource Services, will share insights on how to proactively manage risk associated with harassment in the workplace. Admission is $18.00 for Brookfield Chamber members, $25.00 for non-members, and includes breakfast.

Carol White, President and CEO of GBCC, said, “Our member businesses expressed an interest in a business educational component tied with our exceptional networking programs. It only made sense for our launch program to be something topical – all you need do is turn to the news, listen to a radio program, or receive an email update – as I just did from WisconsinEye, with the headline “Addressing Sexual Misconduct on Wisconsin Campuses” – it is everywhere.

White continued, “Sometime small businesses feel they are immune to issues impacting large businesses; nothing could be further from the truth. They often do not have the resources available to them that a large business may – thus our business education program to address just that. They often have more to lose. We are here to be a resource to those smaller businesses.”

HRS, Human Resource Services, stands distinctively apart in a saturated HR space. Labeled the “Gold Standard in HR,” and “Pioneers in HR Research,” HRS designs bulletproof HR systems and consultatively tackles the hardest stuff with the most critical impact. HRS is led by Jessica Ollenberg, CEO, Matthew Bare, Chief Experience Officer, and John Ollenberg, Chief Development Officer. For more information, go to www.askhrs.com
