Hip Hop Legends Run DMC, Public Enemy Played Friday at Wauwatosa Bar

Bar owner of the Red Dot made it happen, calls music "the soundtrack to my life."

WAUWATOSA -- Quietly, as if under the radar, two legendary hip hop acts, Run DMC and Public Enemy, played last night in Wauwatosa.

According to a report by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, these two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame acts were playing for about 150 people, in a space roughly the size of a living room, for a private party at a Wauwatosa bar, the Red Dot.

"It's a dream fulfilled man," said the man responsible for the party, Wauwatosa resident Anthony Lampasona, 43 to the Journal Sentinel. "This is the soundtrack to my life."
