Hot Yoga, Gym Coming To Wauwatosa

The gym will offer group and private training sessions as well as yoga and massage.

WAUWATOSA, WI — A new hot yoga and gym is one step closer to coming to Wauwatosa after the city Plan Commission approved the Ripple Effect gym for 6318 W. State St.

According to official documents, the gym will offer group and private training sessions as well as yoga and massage. An existing portion of the building will be demolished to accommodate an addition at the front of the building.

Details:
  • Hours of operation 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday; closed Sunday.
  • Nationally accredited trainers or Bachelor Degree that serves as a testament of proper knowledge, ethics, and safety in the fitness and yoga industries.
  • The gym will represent the foundation for providing services that will focus on foundational movements (movements that are functional and serve a purpose outside in “real world Private application”) that are applicable to assisting with daily activities such as posture, balance, and alignment.
  • Training facility with in-house training and yoga/hot yoga. Training sessions are by appointment only and are considered “private”
  • Yoga sessions are hosted in a group (approx.10 people) lasting 1 hour. Walk-ins are welcomed. However, reservations are recommended and check-in is required.
  • Training sessions aim to provide a unique client-focused regimen that enhances their daily lives. Sessions will range from 30-60 minutes and will have a variance in number of people per session but not ranging more than 3-5 people at one given time - “Group Training”
  • Ripple Effect will have 1 yoga instructor, 2 personal trainers, and 1 part-time support person. 2019 we will have 2 yoga instructors, 5 personal trainers, and 2 part-time support personnel. This will put it at full capacity for this location.
