Investor Group Purchases Property at corner of Mayfair and Bluemound for Development

WAUWATOSA -- An otherwise vacant corner at one of Wauwatosa's busier retail centers could get more interesting in the near future after an investor group bought the property for $2 million.

According to a report by the Milwaukee Biz Times, an investor group including Milwaukee restaurant owner Johnny Vassallo, Milwaukee Bucks Player Steve Novak and former Milwaukee Wave owner Jim Lindenberg bought a 2-acre property at 10845 W. Bluemound Road, across from Mo's Irish Pub for $2 million.

According to the Biz Times,the property used to house an Edwardo's Pizza place, which closed in March 2014.

Vassallo, who founded Mo's Restaurants in 1999 told the Biz Times that "It's a great corner and an amazing piece of land."
