List Of Candidates For District 5 Alderperson

We have 11 applicants for the open vacancy in the 5th District. Given the number of applicants, we will be conducting interviews over two nights. The meetings will be held virtually over Zoom.

Each candidate will be given a 30 minute window. Six candidates will be interviewed on Monday, 11/16 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. The remaining five candidates will be interviewed on Thursday, 11/19, beginning at 6:00 pm. Immediately following the last interview, the Aldermanic Selection Committee will vote who to recommend to the Common Council. The first candidate to have 3 total votes (a majority of the 5 members of the committee) will be recommended. Read more about the selection process and confirmation.
