MATC Campus on Lockdown
Students and staff at MATC were advised to say inside after a reported threat on campus.

Students and staff on the MATC campus in Downtown Milwaukee were advised to 'remain in place' Tuesday morning after eyewitnesses reported a potential threat on campus.
According to media reports, an unidentified person carrying a gun had entered one of the campus buildings. Milwaukee Police said eyewitnesses reportedly saw two people arguing on campus at approximately 9:15 a.m. prior to seeing one of the two people entering a building with a gun.
MATC issued the following advisory via Twitter just after 10 a.m.:

"Downtown MKE Campus on lock down. Lock doors and windows immediately and remain in place until you get all clear."
MATC issued a second tweet several minutes later to announce the situation had been cleared and the lockdown had been lifted:

Downtown Milwaukee Campus all clear at 10:03 am. Lock down is over. Resume activities.
Kathleen Hohl, communications director at MATC said she did not have any additional information at this time.
Update 10:45 a.m.
Milwaukee police say the subject with a gun has not been located but the investigation is ongoing.
