WAUWATOSA, WI — After the completion of an extensive, multi-year street-scaping project in Wauwatosa’s historic village district, the Lowlands Group announced plans for the all-new Tosa Village Beer Garden. This beer garden will be located in the heart of the village on a newly-expanded patio overlooking the Menomonee River.

Scheduled to open in early June, the Tosa Village Beer Garden will offer a variety of drinks including international and domestic craft beers on draft, as well as wine, cocktails and more.

Food options from the adjacent Café Bavaria will be offered including sausages and hot dogs as well as snacks such as pretzels and fried cheese curds. The beer garden will be separate from Café Bavaria, which will continue to offer full-service outdoor dining as well.

To accommodate the beer garden at Café Bavaria—and to expand Café Hollander’s outdoor patio—a large expansion to the Harwood pedestrian bridge is currently underway. When completed, the new seating areas will be larger and offer much-improved views of the adjacent Menomonee River.

Lowlands Group has not set a firm opening date for the Tosa Village Beer Garden yet, but is currently targeting early June, depending on the construction schedule for the project.
