WAUWATOSA, WI — Glen Fink, a substitute teacher who has been charged with of physical abuse of a child related to the June 4 incident at Whitman Middle School in Wauwatosa is set to enter his plea before a Milwaukee County judge later this month.

Yet before he does, another parent has come forward, saying Fink injured their child. According to a FOX 6 report, parent Kim Storey says Fink also injured her daughter, Kitty, who has Down Syndrome. According to the report, Kitty ran away from Fink, and into a boy's locker room during a school day in October 2018. Storey says Fink grabbed her daughter and pulled her out of the locker room, causing bruising on her arm.

The incident behind Storey's claim came several months before a physical incident involving Fink and a child that resulted in charges for the former substitute teacher.

A WISN-TV report stated that the student, Deron O'Rourke was given the responsibility of holding a roll of tape for a teacher. When Fink came in the classroom later and asked for the tape, O'Rourke didn't hand it over. The situation escalated and then became physical, O'Rourke's mother said.

The Wauwatosa School District confirmed that Fink was no longer employed with the district.

According to the criminal complaint, another teacher on the job that day saw what happened, and told police they saw Fink put his left arm across the child's upper check as he said, "there is no one here to see it."

Fink is scheduled to appear before a Milwaukee County judge on Nov. 21 to enter his plea. If convicted, Fink could face up to 18 months behind bars in addition to any fines he may incur.
