• Wauwatosa West stuns rival Wauwatosa East with late rally (jsonline.com) — Wauwatosa sports fans just saw a classic, as Wauwatosa West stunned crosstown rival Wauwatosa East 22-21 at Hart Park with a last-minute touchdown and gutsy two-point conversion. The Trojans blew a 14-0 lead, then rallied in the final minute to earn their first win of the season in the latest Battle for Tosa.
   

• Several Milwaukee County cities testing new strategies to combat reckless driving (wtmj.com) — Drivers and pedestrians in Wauwatosa should watch for new Near-Miss Detection cameras going up along Burleigh Street and North Avenue as part of a countywide push to curb reckless driving.
