• 100 trees illegally removed from Menomonee River restoration project (wtmj.com) — Roughly 100 young trees from a Menomonee River Parkway restoration project in Wauwatosa were illegally cut and pulled from the ground, causing thousands of dollars in damage. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident as felony criminal damage, and local partners say the loss undermines efforts to improve habitat and protect the river corridor.
