Police Arrest Fast Food Armed Robber: Report
Milwaukee police say Twechewjee Yang staged armed robberies at a Milwaukee Pizza Hut, a Taco Bell in Wauwatosa and a Hong Kong Express.

WAUWATOSA, WI — Authorities in Milwaukee County say a man implicated in three fast-food restaurant armed robberies has been arrested and charged.
Milwaukee police say Twechewjee Yang, 18, of Milwaukee staged armed robberies at a Milwaukee Pizza Hut, a Taco Bell in Wauwatosa and a Hong Kong Express in Milwaukee.
On March 8, Milwaukee police responded to the Pizza Hut at 6807 West Brown Deer Road for an armed robbery.

According to the criminal complaint, officers spoke to a Pizza Hut cashier who said that he as working when he was approached by two men. One of the males was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. The cashier said the man with the hand gun threw a plastic bag on the counter and demanded that he put money from the register in the bag.
On May 3, police responded to the Taco Bell at 510 North Mayfair Road in Wauwatosa for an armed robbery. Officers questioned a Taco Bell employee, who said to men approached the register. One of the men gave her a plastic bag and demanded that she put the money from the register in the bag. The two men then went toward another register and asked for the keys to the safe, but they ultimately just left the restaurant, the criminal complaint stated.

On July 31, Milwaukee police responded to the Hong Kong Express at 7420 West Good Hope Road for an armed robbery.
According to the criminal complaint, an employee told police he was working as a cashier when he was approached by two men. One of the men had a handgun and demanded money. He gave the men the money and the two fled from the restaurant.
Police said they caught up with one of the suspects, a 16-year-old. According to the criminal complaint, he admitted to participating in all three of the robberies with a family member identified as Twechewjee Yang. Police caught up with Yang at his home in Milwaukee, and arrested him during the execution of a search warrant, police said. Police said they found a black semi-automatic hand gun and a black revolver, authorities said.
Yang is currently being held in the Milwaukee County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
