According to the criminal complaint, the homeowner and a neighbor stopped home for lunch when he noticed that his neighbor's rear window had been smashed. When the neighbor walked around his neighbor's house, he saw a man that matched Moody's description. The neighbor went inside and saw that he was missing a laptop and several baseball caps.

According to the criminal complaint, police questioned Moody, who admitted that he first went to one house, and broke a window with a rock in order to steal the laptop and three baseball caps. He then told police he walked over to the second house and cut the screen on the back door of a house and tried getting in.

Police said they spotted Moody and made the arrest as he was trying to walk away from his second burglary attempt.

Moody is currently out on a $7,500 signature bond and is scheduled to next appear in court on Aug. 22.
