Police Capture Landmark Credit Union Robber: Report

Police in Wauwatosa responded to a robbery at the Landmark Credit Union just after 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 4.

WAUWATOSA, WI -- Police in Wauwatosa say they've arrested a man accused of a Landmark Credit Union robbery yesterday.

Police in Wauwatosa responded to a robbery at the Landmark Credit Union just after 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 4.

Police said they located a suspect in a vehicle in the area of N. 124th St. and W. Hampton Ave. and attempted a traffic stop. Police said the driver of that vehicle, a 41-year-old Milwaukee man, fled and led officers on a pursuit into Butler and later into Milwaukee.

Police said man abandoned the vehicle in the area of N. 95th Street and W. Thurston Ave. and was arrested after a short foot pursuit.

Police said that the stolen money was recovered. Police said he acted alone, and did not display a weapon during the robbery.
