Police Searching For Wauwatosa Bank Robber
Police say the man handed a note demanding money from a Tri City clerk and brandished a dark-colored semi-automatic handgun.
WAUWATOSA, WI β The Wauwatosa Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a bank robber who staged an armed robbery Friday afternoon.
Wauwatosa police say that on Friday, Feb. 9, the Tri City National Bank, located at 10859 W. Blue Mound Rd., was robbed at gunpoint by a man. Police say the suspect is described as a black male, between 30 to 35 years old who stands between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11. Police say he has a medium build and was wearing a black winter coat with large pockets over a zippered, hooded sweatshirt during the reported robbery.
Photographs of the suspect were captured on the bank's surveillance cameras, and have been made available to the public.

Police say the man handed a note demanding money from a Tri City clerk and brandished a dark-colored semi-automatic handgun. He ran from the bank with an unspecified amount of money and police say he may have entered a light-colored 2003-2007 Ford Expedition.
