'Prepare to be Inspired' Mayfair Mall Apple Store Grand Re-Opening is Sept. 10
BREAKING: Apple is keeping a tight lid on the details of their new Mayfair Mall store, which is set to open this Saturday.

WAUWATOSA -- Back in 2002, Mayfair Mall opened the first Apple Store in Wisconsin. Back then, the store was selling first-generation iPods, and the G4 iMac was all the rage.
It's hard to believe, but the iPhone was still five years away.
Come Saturday, September 10, the Mayfair Apple Store will celebrate it's grand re-opening.

For several months, from behind a black wall between Brighton Collectibles and Athleta, workers put the glass-and-brushed-metal look of Apple into practice.
All that work has paid off, and Apple will unveil its newest North American retail outlet to the public this weekend.
Apple has two other stores in Wisconsin: one at the Bayshore Town Center in Glendale and one in West Towne in Madison.
The Mayfair location, the first Apple store in the state, opened in 2002.
