Topics this week during city meetings include:

• Community Development Authority (January 26, 12:00 pm) will listen to presentations related to the Blanchard Street Parking Lot redevelopment. See the proposals.
• Government Affairs (January 26, 6:30 pm) will discuss:
  • an application for a beer and wine license for Egg & Flour located in Metcalfe's Market
  • an application for a liquor and beer license by MKE Charcuterie at 10600 W. Bluemound Road
  • the closing report from Wauwatosa Government Affairs Ad-Hoc Committee on issues related to policing and racial equity
  • a proposal to reduce the size of the Common Council
• Transportation Affairs (January 26, 7:00 pm) will discuss the conclusion of a 90 day trial removing parking regulations from 93rd Street from Capitol Drive to Fiebrantz Avenue and a request to modify the municipal code regarding no turn on red restrictions at certain intersections.
• Community Affairs Committee (January 26, 7:30 pm) will review:
  • a request by Cardinal Capital Management for a zoning map amendment and preliminary plans at 2506 Wauwatosa Avenue for a multi-unit residential development
  • a request to remove licensure requirement for placing concrete for sidewalks and driveways in the City of Wauwatosa
  • a project regarding correction of historic deed restrictions for properties in Wauwatosa
• Financial Affairs (January 26, 7:30 pm) will discus a fund transfer to purchase trees and planting materials and a contract for the Waste Wizard web application

The Common Council passed a resolution that all citizen committees, standing council committees, and Common Council meetings are to be held in virtual format through March 2, 2021. This means there will be no in-person attendance at city hall during meetings.
