  • Government Affairs (March 30, 6:30 pm) will discuss fireworks user permits, the Sustainability Committee 2020 Annual Report, confirmation of the Health Officer and City Clerk appointments, consideration of a statement in support of Asian American Pacifica Islander Communities, and consideration of an ordinance allowing the sale of liquor by the glass or not in original container.
  • Transportation Affairs (March 30, 6:30 pm) will discuss:
    • approval of trucking restrictions on 111th, 112th, 113th, 114th, and 115th between Blue Mound Road and Park Hill Avenue
    • installation of an on street handicap parking zone on the south side of Garfield Avenue east of 68th St
    • a no left turn restriction from 112th Street onto Center Street
    • installing yield signs on 74th St at Grand Parkway
    • prohibition of u-turns on Center Street from Mayfair Road to 117th St
    • an update on overnight parking regulations in regard to requests for vehicles unable to be safely operated by owner or operator
    • removing parking on a portion of 68th St and adding bicycle lanes to 68th St

    • Plan Commission candidate interview
    • Senior Commission Citizen Committee report
    • presentation by Army Corps of Engineers regarding proposed Honey Creek Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration
    • consideration of factors supporting denial of conditional use permit at 11320 West Blue Mound Road
    • ordinance extending the use of face coverings in Wauwatosa to June 16, 2021
  • Equity and Inclusion Commission (April 1, 6:00 pm) will talk about:
    • Equity and inclusion implications of the size of the Wauwatosa Common Council
    • Update on progress of citizen involvement in the selection process for the Wauwatosa Chief of Police
    • Proposed federal legislation regarding policing and voting rights
    • Report from the subcommittee on City budget regarding equity and inclusion goals
    • Review of commission goals and plan for 2021

The Common Council passed a resolution that all citizen committees, standing council committees, and Common Council meetings are to be held in virtual format through June 1, 2021. This means there will be no in-person attendance at city hall during meetings.
